How can I lead my organization to use Manager Tools when I am not in leadership myself?

Hello Manager Tools!
 
How can I influence my management to apply the recommendations of Manager Tools when I am not in senior leadership? I don’t even have any directs that I can manage to show people the principles work.
 
Has anyone presented Manager Tools to their boss? How did it go?

I did some reading and this question is already answered. Still, it would be nice to have a DVD or CD to leave arround the office for someoen to discover....
