List Expired Certifications on LinkedIn?

 Hi All, 

Should I display an expired certifications on my LinkedIn profile?

I have a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) which is a low level certification but relevant to my background and current industry. BUT it expired July 2011.

Should I remove it or keep it to show pervious certifications?

as long as you note it expired, keeping it on your LinkedIn profile would be fine.

 If I were screening resumes, and yours came across my desk with an expired certification listed as one of the things you think is most positive about your qualifications, I'd look at that as a negative.
Also, many certifications are trademarked; it may not be legal to use the certification to promote yourself in any way if you're not a current holder.
My advice: leave it out.
