In the Facilitating Ground Rules to Start a Meeting podcast, the guys mentioned a meeting cost clock, I liked the idea so I made a simple web page designed for use on an iPhone. The calculations are a bit rudimentary, but it seems to work ok. Just wanted to share it :) http://www.davedevelopment.co.uk/meetingclock/

Is the salary in pounds or dollars?

It's in whatever you want it to be ;)

Alternate version of the same thing:
http://www.mcgurrin.com/clock.htm
It suggests $50 an hour per participant.  Considering meeting room costs on top of salary, it probably is cheap.
Like the other one, will work on an iPhone.

I bought one of these: http://www.bringtim.com for $25 and have been happy with it.  Even if I don't turn it on, it serves as a physical reminder that meetings need to create more value then they cost. - Sam
