Hello All, I am a manager over the BI | EDW group for a national retailer. I spent most of my career as an individual contributor (last stint as an architect). I have always wanted to make the shift over to management (always enjoyed the coaching | mentoring aspect). About a year ago an opportunity arose to take over as the manager of the BI | EDW group. Went for it and got it. Once I received the position, I realized how much I didn't know. So like any good technical person, I went searching for answers. I went to iTunes to look for some books and thought I would look at which podcast were available. I saw MT, subscribed to it just because of the name. It was the best task which I did. The trinity series (all 4 parts ;) ) was instrumental in my success. Now my wife makes the jokes all I listen to is MT and Sports Center, no more rock. Keep the series up. ~Dean

Dean,

The forums are a great community, and a great extension to the podcasts.

See you around...

Welcome

Dean-
Welcome aboard!  Can't believe Mike didn't tell you that he used to live in Mililani, and I lived in Waipio Gentry and Haleiwa (both near Matsumoto's and also at Pupukea above Waimea).
Aloha,
Mark
