One natural overriding objective...

Hi, I'm trying to retrace a podcast in which Mark briefly brings up the idea that most businesses have one natural overriding objective. He gives two or three examples, but quickly moves on to something else as this discussion is only a tangent to the main topic. I think this podcasts probably dates back a year or more. BTW, it's not the SWOT podcasts. Help !

I just thought of another keyword: mission.

I'm currently looking at different podcasts with that keyword in mind, but I haven't found it yet.
