Training spend

Hi Fellow Mngs, We are spending about 0.97% on training. I think this is low...is there an average? What are you guys/girls spending? Cheers Ian

I have no problem justifying 3-5% of gross salary for on-going training needs of my staff. That said, your industry may have quite different benchmarks.

1% of annual revenue for good companies

2% - 3% for great companies

I remember seeing this quoted somewhere
