Hi everyone, I had a Google alert about 'Emergenetics' being used somewhere in cyberspace, and I found Manager Tools in the process. I run a learning and development firm, in Singapore and of course, Emergenetics is one of the assessment tools in our stable. Our programme foci are on improving individual and group learning, and enabling team and leadership effectiveness. Thanks again for your welcome! Best, Noel :D

Welcome! I think you'd find the early podcasts on One-on-Ones, feedback and coaching to be a good foundation for the forums and the later podcasts (see the archives).

Welcome aboard Noel. If you have the same experience as many of us here you're in for a lot of pleasant surprises.

What the heck is emergenetics? :?

Hi Will,
Thanks for your welcome!

Based on neuroscientific research, Emergenetics is an assessment tool that captures a person's thinking preferences and behavioural attributes. It comes out of Denver, Colorado.

I've been using it for about 2 years now, since it came to Asia although when I first started out in training, I used DISC and the MBTI quite a bit. (I know I'm a DC, but I can't remember the numbers, unlike you)

On the Emergenetics profile, I come out as an Abstract Thinker. I still like using DISC especially in interpersonal communications settings, 'cos it's easy to understand and apply on the part of participants.

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post 3rd party URLs here, so if you need more info, you can pm me.

Best,
Noel

You can purchase an online DISC test from the MT site here. Although it looks like it might be temporarily unavailable.

I took the test and passed! I am so proud I added my test results to my signature

A bunch of us here have our numbers in our signatures. I added my numbers to my signature so people could know why I am the way I am.

Noel,

I was looking through old posts this evening and realized I missed your introduction. I have a son who lives on Batam. He gets to Singapore about once/month.

Small world!

Hey Dave, I've messaged you before about Eric. I've visited the resort once and I'm bringing 2 groups of students there this year.

Small world, indeed.

Best,
Noel

Sorry Noel,

My memory is starting to go. Eric just spent four months in the U.S. He is back on Batam now. I knew I had spoken to someone in Singapore. I won't forget now.

How is Manager-Tools helping you in your business? It has been a life-saver for me.

Blessings,

Dave

free birthday greetings
The great thing about them, of course, is that they are free birthday cards. It makes no sense is spending $ 5 or more dollars in a paper card that will be thrown away in a couple of days anyway. If you think you will not find something that suits your needs and interests, you are probably wrong.

Hello everyone! I've just moved to Singapore, so looking for friends on this topic.) In case you're interested just write me a reply in this thread or send me a personal message. As soon as I found the company incorporation cost guide explained I started thinking of moving to Singapore and making my dream come true. I have always wanted to have a small bakery somewhere in a beautiful spot. After saving some money I bravely got a one-way ticket to Singapore!
