Reason #75 to have an updated resume: After your recent promotion, you get an email (like I did) that looks like this: [i]Would you do me a favour and send me your resume – ran into [our public company CEO] yesterday and he would like to give you a quick call to say hello – and I know from past experience that he loves to have someone’s resume so he can see where they went to school!! So I would like to send it along to him with your phone number…[/i] No problem. the MT resume is updated. I took a minute to scan for changes one last time and I'm done. Mark, that is awesome! Once I heard that 'cast I immediately scheduled quarterly 30 minute appointments (through the next two years) with myself to ensure I do this and it is such a great feeling! Plus, it keeps the resume fresh!

I love hearing stories like yours. As I slowly convince all of my colleagues to do the same I love inserting stories like yours.
