Morning! When I send a pm, they seem to get stuck in my outbox and not reach the recipient. Have I broken something, or do they just not want to hear from me :-( thanks Wendii

Wendii,

I believe they show in the outbox until they have been read. I doubt it's that they don't want to hear from you, but rather that not everyone logs into the board to *read* the boards. I suspect a number of folks don't even realize some of us have sent them mail!

Yep, the messages remain in your Outbox until "read" by the recipient.

Ah! thank you for explaining, I'd missed that vital bit of information!

Don't feel bad, I only figured it out by trial and error! Of course, I think it's quite nice to know when the message got through.

And just to be clear, there's a choice (and I do believe it's the default) that folks get an email if they have a PM. Some may have turned that off.

There are days when I want to... twice my box has been full...within a week.

Sorry I've been gone so long. Many of you deserve a tip of the hat for your carrying the ball for your fellow members.

Thank you.

I took you seriously when you said it's our community. That means I get to put a pink flamingo on the lawn and wear straw hats as I chat it up with the neighbors.

I have a pink flamingo in my office. His name is Bobby, and Dani ACS can verify this.
