What is it?

The transition to leading other managers—often referred to as the “manager of managers” level—is rarely clearly defined. We’ll help you bridge that gap and begin developing the skills required at the executive level.

In this training, you’ll gain a clear understanding of how your current role differs from managing individual contributors. You'll learn what the organization expects from you, how to set strategic goals, define measurable outcomes, and assess your performance accordingly.

You’ll learn how to use tools like the nine-box matrix for talent evaluation, how to design and implement a communications plan tailored to your role, and the communication rhythms necessary to lead effectively at scale. You’ll also learn how to conduct a Session C, lead organizational restructuring efforts, and understand the strategic value of internal relationships.

Running an org with multiple levels (your directs are managers) is a lot different than being on the front lines.
