"Life would be better for me if everyone was just like me, and I'm going to write an article complaining about all those people who aren't like me".
A childish and unprofessional attitude, but one that is all too common.  I regret that I was once one of those people.
The article will be very controversial amongst everyone who isn't either (a) like the author, or (b) recognises that the world doesn't work the way the author wishes it did.  So it will garner a lot of comment, a lot of reposts, and ultimately a lot of traffic to the publisher's site, which is what they're interested in.  It's little more than a trolling article, executed not "for the lulz", but for the pageviews.  Ultimately, the solution is the same though -- ignore it, rise above it, and hope you're running a team in competition with the author, because your team will kick his team's ass.

I would comment but I'm too busy writing my scathing blog about it being a little too windy today.
