How to give farewell speech for boss is moving to other company

Keep it short, keep it positive, and keep it light.  That will maintain the relationship between you and your boss because you never know when you will need him as an active part of your network.
Good luck.

Howdy!
Toastmasters has been a frequent recommendation on the forums and I can't speak highly enough of the group.   They focus on helping folks develop their public speaking ability in a friendly, supportive environment.
Many of our club members have used the meetings to practice and get feedback in preparation for formal presentations, either at work or for personal reasons.   My son came to our meeting to prepare for the state History Day competition -- he came in third, even though he got points off for going over the time limit.
You could may even be able to find a local club that would allow you to visit and give it a dry run. You can find a club at their main web page at http://www.toastmasters.org/.   Just look on the left hand side of the page.
Drop me a note if you happen to be in the mid-Hudson Valley of NY and I'll give you directions to our meeting.
Good luck!!
Bill
