My dad had interviewed me for an HR class he is taking on our training program. Here is what he interpreted from our conversation:
I interviewed a shift crew manager at a manufacturing facility. His evaluation of the training department was that they did a fine job for the complex overall, but were lacking in support of his specialized work area. He advised that they have a training structure but it is not maintained. Also, that there is no centralized system for tracking the training and certifications. He also expressed concern that the training did not match the expectations of the job requirements. Lastly, much of the training being conducted was being provided by in-house instructors and he felt that for some areas, an expert from outside the organization would be better suited for this offering.

Could you be more specific about the situation and goals?
