London Meetup - 16th May. Heathrow(ish). Special guests :)

Dear All,

A MT Meet-up is arranged on May 16th at Pizza Express in Hounslow from 1930 to 2130. We have reserved 20 seats. Please reply to this thread if you will be attending. The sooner we know how many seats we need the better.

M&M are stopping over at Heathrow enroute home from Europe on May 16th. They will be joining the Meetup from 1930 to 2130.
Mark will host an open question forum from 2030 to 2115

In June I will be moving back to Europe after spending 5+ years in corporate America. Great experience!..time to go home ;-)

Will not be able to attend the London meet-up, but would like to ask those who will, to gain some insight as to when the next European conference will be..2008? early 2009?

I propose a wonderful venue...my home town BARCELONA!. All meetings I have organized there have always been VERY successful, especially when it is still kind of cold/wet in most places in Europe..

Mark and Mike, if you decide to take me up on my suggestion, I will be happy to help make the arrangements.

I'd love to go, but it's going to be at least 4 hours drive each way.

I would love to attend on the 16th May; it's quite a way down but I need to be in London over the weekend so it's perfect timing for me.

Meetup in May, I cut my boss a deal... basically I've to work some of my holidays but am have been allowed to come... and for the record I am travelling from YORKSHIRE.

The April 26th Meetup will be held at The Coopers Arms on Flood Street, Chelsea.

It's a nice pub with good food and lovely staff. They're giving us a reserved area for our meeting.

Travel:
Nearest tube: Sloane Square (10 mins walk or 5 mins bus)
Nearest mainline stations: Victoria & Clapham Junction (take bus 170 from both stations - 20 mins)
Buses: Several, incl. 19, 11, 211, 319, & 49. (Get off by Waitrose & 3 min walk).

Am not going to be able to make it either :( got a project pushed on me just after I wrote the post about being able to come and looking forward to it. Absolutlely gutted.

But the project (basically turning around an area of one of our branches that is causing concern) is a massive thing for me to have been given, and trusted with, so i've to focus on that right now. Sorry guys.

Sorry chaps, but I'm going to have to duck out of this one too. The perils of working in Financial Services during the credit crunch are really taking their toll on my free time.

I'm gutted that I won't get to meet you all again, but I'll be keeping my eye out for future UK meets.

I didn't actually attend the conference - I was away on business, but my husband attended, and i would love to come tonight if its not too short notice?

Let me know if it will be a problem, otherwise i would love to come - I am trying to convince my boss that the conference in London is a must-go-to event, and would love some ammunition to take to the meeting
